National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health
Impact Factor: 3.11 (Included
as isi journal in master list of various data base)
Objectives
The objectives of IJPHC are
to promote dialogue among researchers from multiple disciplines and the
advancement of innovative biotechnology, biological, medical and
pharmaceutical sciences. The journal also seeks to establish an
effective communication channel between government agencies and academic
and research institutions. The
International Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Health Care (IJPHC)
is a bimonthly published online Journal, which publishes innovative
research papers, reviews, mini-reviews, short communications and notes
dealing with Pharmaceutical Sciences and health care (Pharmaceutical
Technology, Pharmaceutics, Biopharmaceutics, Pharmacokinetics,
Pharmaceutical/Medicinal Chemistry, Computational Chemistry and
Molecular Drug Design, Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry, Pharmacology,
Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmacy Practice, Clinical and Hospital
Pharmacy, Cell Biology, Genomics and Proteomics, Pharmacogenomics,
Bioinformatics and Biotechnology of Pharmaceutical Interest. The
objectives of IJPHC are
to establish an effective channel of communication between researchers
and practitioners, government agencies, academic and research
institutions and persons concerned with the complex roles of biomedical
engineering and technology. It also aims to promote and coordinate
developments in the field from the laboratory bench to the patient’s
bedside. Healthcare is a global industry; the international dimension is
therefore emphasized in order to facilitate the development of solutions
that have a universal focus.
All manuscripts are subject to rapid peer review. Those of high quality
(not previously published and not under consideration for publication in
another journal) will be published without delay.
Readership
The audience of IJPHC consists
of scientists, researchers, medical and pharmaceutical practitioners,
academics, graduate students, professionals and engineers working and
interested in learning about new trends in computational biology and
drug design.
Contents
IJPHC publishes
original papers, application papers, review papers, technical reports,
case studies, conference reports, management reports, book reviews,
notes, commentaries, and news. Special Issues devoted to important
research topics and major international conferences in the fields will
occasionally be published
Editorial policy
The over-riding criteria for publication are originality, high
scientific quality and interest to a multidisciplinary audience. Any
technical queries will be referred back to the author, although the
Editors reserve the right to make alterations in the text without
altering the technical content. Manuscripts submitted under multiple
authorship are reviewed on the assumption that all listed authors concur
with the submission and that a copy of the final manuscript has been
approved by all authors and tacitly or explicitly by the responsible
authorities in the laboratories where the work was carried out. If
accepted, the manuscript shall not be published elsewhere in the same
form, in either the same or another language, without the consent of the
Editors. Authors must state in a covering letter when submitting papers
for publication the novelty embodied in their work or in the approach
taken in their research.
